Canonici is joined by several of Tacoma’s leading early music specialists, including Illumni Men’s Chorale, Dorian Singers, and Mark Brombaugh, organist. Join us as we recreate a musical day in the life of Duke Ercole I d’Este of Ferrara, an wealthy nobleman and ardent Catholic with close ties to the Girolamo Savonarola, the priest who was famously burned at the stake for his passionate beliefs.

This is a free concert, made possible through a generous grant by the Tacoma Arts Commission.
